Object to be Destroyed: 66 Times recasts Man Ray’s iconic readymade as a computer-generated panoramic installation. A single photorealistic metronome multiplies into a synchronized field of mechanical swinging pendulums, which are in turn deconstructed into their components and later reconstructed. From a Dada object to digital readymade, the work investigates repetition and entropy, rendering time as something simultaneously measured and dissolved.
